Yuli Gutiérrez

Yuli discovered her love for volleyball at the age of 15 in Colombia while searching for a new sport. After her first practice, she was immediately hooked. What began as a few weekly practices quickly evolved into a deeper commitment, leading her to join a municipal club and compete across multiple teams. One of her proudest early achievements was competing at the national level and finishing 5th in the 16s division.

Her passion for the sport continued through community college and during her time studying abroad. While she ultimately chose to pursue a career in engineering, volleyball has remained a constant throughout her life. From organizing her first tournament at 17 to envisioning a space where people could connect through the game, her passion continued to grow.

In 2025, she founded Let’s Volley — a welcoming and inclusive community designed for beginner and intermediate players to develop their skills, build confidence, and form meaningful connections. Through social events, themed tournaments, and community-driven play, her mission is to make volleyball accessible, fun, and empowering for all.

Now, through Project Serve, she is excited to further expand that impact by creating memorable experiences, fostering community, and sharing a genuine love for the sport with players of all backgrounds.
